António Almeida Dias completed his PhD in Medicine in 1993 and his Degree in Medicine in 1985, both from the University of Porto - Faculty of Medicine. He is President of the Board of Directors of CESPU-Cooperativa de Ensino Superior Politécnico e Universitário, CRL, and President of the Instituto Politécnico de Saúde do Norte/CESPU. He is Associate Professor at the University Institute of Health Sciences, Coordinating Professor at the Instituto Politécnico de Saúde do Norte - Escola Superior de Saúde do Vale do Ave and Escola Superior de Saúde do Vale do Sousa. He is also President of CESPU Europa, S.A., President of PEA Projetos Educativos de Angola, S.A., Invited Associate Professor at ISTM Instituto Superior Técnico Militar de Luanda and President of the General Assembly of RACS Academic Network of Health Sciences of the Community of Countries of Portuguese language. He has published 27 articles in specialized journals. He has 16 book chapters. He organized 6 events. He participated in 24 events. He supervised 3 doctoral theses. He supervised 1 master's thesis. He has received 2 awards and/or honors. He works in the area of Medical and Health Sciences with an emphasis on Basic Medicine and Physiology.
