Maria Lurdes Teixeira is an Adjunt Professor at the CESPU where teaches the scientific areas of the social sciences, with emphasis on sociology, psychosociology and sociology of health to various degree courses, Post-Graduate courses and Higher Professional Technical Courses. PhD in Sociology, by the Instituto Superior de Ciências do Trabalho e da Empresa – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL), Master in Intercultural Relations, by Universidade Aberta, and graduation degree in Degree in Sociology from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto. She was part of the research team of projects in the area of primary health care / primary health care.
