Assunção Nogueira

PhD in Education in 2008 at Universidade Portucalense Infante D. Henrique in Porto (study on the competences attributed by nurses in Primary Health Care to the informal caregiver of a dependent patient), Master in Nursing Sciences in 2003, at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of Abel Salazar (study that addressed the needs of family caregivers of a dependent patient, contributions from nurses), CESE in Community Nursing in 1999 at Escola Pós Básica do Porto (6 months of this training were in Occupational Nursing) and Nursing Course in 1985, at the Nursing School of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady. Principal Adjunct Professor at the Tâmega e Sousa School of Nursing of the IPSN at CESPU. Assumes several Regencies of several CUs, in the Degree in Nursing, of which we highlight Research II, Family Dynamics and Structure and Community Nursing I, at CTESP in Gerontology. President of the Pedagogical Council of ESEnfTS of IPSN, CESPU from 2022-2026 Pedagogical Coordinator of the Postgraduate Advanced Intervention in Wound Prevention and Treatment. He has published several articles and book chapters, as well as has given several lectures in national and international scientific events on the areas of his interest: Aging, Family Care, Health and Community Intervention. He was part of the Organizing and Scientific Committee of several national and international scientific events. He belonged to several Juries of academic tests and supervised Master's and Doctoral work. It belongs to the HWOPI Project - Health Work International Project, of the Escola Superior de Enfermagem do Porto-ESEP, Research Center in Health Technologies and Services-CINTESIS.
