General Care Nurse from 1993 to 2002, worked in the Labor Block, Obstetrics/Gynaecology and Paediatrics/Neonatology services. Completed the Post-Graduate Specialization in Community Nursing in 2000 at the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP). From 2003 to 08/2019 Specialist Nurse, at the Barcelos/Barcelinhos Health Centre - ACES do Cávado III Barcelos/Esposende, as Nurse Trainer, responsible for School Health in the North of Barcelos Municipality, responsible for the Occupational Health nursing team. In 2014, moved to ACES Cávado II Gerês/Cabreira for the Community Care Unit, highlighting the Coordination of the UCC (2017/09-2019/08), member of the Quality and Safety Committee (2016/06-2019/08) and Clinical Risk Manager (2018/10 - 2019/08). Since 2019/2020, I have been a full-time member of the pedagogical team of the Degree in Nursing, at the Polytechnic Institute of Health of the North (IPSN), - ESSVA - regent of the following disciplines: Clinical Teaching: Mother and New-born Care, Nursing Community I and II, and Nursing to the Person in Palliative Care, and assistant in the disciplines: From Appreciation to Decision Making in Nursing I and II, Nursing and Professional Identity, Nursing: Women's and Children's Health, Information and Technology Applied to Nursing, and Clinical Teaching in the Community (supervisor of internships). Member of the Scientific Technical Council (20/06/2022); Secretary at the Pedagogical Council (07/2022) and member of the CP since 2019/2020; Member of the Monitoring Committee of Pedagogical Surveys (2019/2021) of IPSN - ESSVA. I attended the PhD in Nursing at the Portuguese Catholic University Institute of Health Sciences Porto. Since 2011, I have held the Title of Specialist in the Nursing Area by passing public exams (Decree-Law nº 206/2009 of August 31st). CESPU- IPSN – ESSVA. I have been part of the ESSVA's Artificial Intelligence and Health Research Unit, since its inception, namely in the Neuroscience Nursing laboratory, where I am part of the research team of the following projects: 60/70CogA_Assessment and intervention in mild cognitive disorders in people aged and ELNursing_Emotional Literacy in Nursing. Since 10/2021: ESSVA liaison in the organisation of the IV Cycle of Conferences of the Vila Nova de Famalicão Municipality, in partnership with the Municipality Federation of Associations of Parents of Famalicão, and the Training Centre of Association of Schools of Vila Nova de Famalicão . Since 1st of March 2017, I am a member of the Regional Committee of School Health Experts of the Northern Regional Section of the Nursing Order. In this context, I participated in the Organising and Scientific Committee for the 1st International School Health Meeting. Member of the Board of the Association of Community Care Units (AUCC) in the 2017/2020 mandate and Secretary in the 2021/2024 mandate. In the activities developed in this Association, I highlight the involvement in the Organising and/or Scientific Committee of the I, II and III National Congress of the AUCC.
