Lia Sousa is an Adjunct Professor at CESPU. Postdoctoral fellow at the University of Rovira i Virgili (Tarragona-Spain), since 2022. PhD in Nursing Sciences, by the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences, University of Porto, since 2018. Masters in Mental and Psychiatric Health Nursing, by the Oporto Nursing School, since 2012. Nurse specialist in mental health nursing, by the Oporto Nursing School, since 2011. She is currently Associate Editor and coordinator of the Editorial Committee of the Portuguese Journal of Mental Health Nursing (Revista Portuguesa de Enfermagem de Saúde Mental) and Member of the Board of the Portuguese Society of Mental Health Nursing. She is currently coordinator of the master’s course in Mental and Psychiatric Health Nursing, at the Vale do Ave Health School, IPSN-CESPU.Author of several scientific works in the area of Minor and Major Neurocognitive Disorder and in the training of family caregivers. She has more than two dozen scientific articles published in national and international journals, and more than a dozen book chapters in her area of expertise.
